I want to take a minute to officially send you a much belated note of thanks for all of the work you have done for us over the past years.  Our business relationship goes back more than 20 years and every job you have done with Unisys and Burroughs has been outstanding and most professional.  Your attention to detail and hands on efforts have been most appreciated and recognized.

Most recently, in 2007, we had the opportunity to work with you at the large International banking event…SIBOS.  This event is one of the premier banking events in the world and is only in the U.S. every 3 years.  Your entire team, Jon, Doug and your staff performed flawlessly.  Aside from the usual, but difficult labor efforts, Jon’s daily IT support for the Unisys systems played a major part in our success.  You resolved any and all issues and made the efforts seem like just part of the job.  We really wouldn’t have been as successful without the efforts of the Corporate Communications team.  Issues such as: pre show shipping, hot staging, graphic production, electrical issues, freight move in and out and associated hall issues, were all quickly resolved.  Your personal contacts with the staff at the Convention Center and the Hynes are extremely valuable.

In addition to the SIBOS Show, you also managed the TAWPI and AFP events last year.  Both of these financial events required extremely advanced planning.  The TAWPI event featured an important executive level, customer dinner that you managed.  Your work and connections at the Top Of The Hub restaurant proved to be the key to our success.  All levels of details from the customer and client contacts to the recondition gifts and credentials were handled perfectly.

In short, Bob, your team deserves a solid thanks for a job well done.  Your “can do” attitude and professionalism is great and I look forward to many more event marketing programs with you.

 

Boston Early Music Festival:

It is my great pleasure to commend you and Corporate Events on the superb level of service extended to the Boston Early Music Festival during our biennial event, taking place this past June 11th through June 17th, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Boston. The fact that you were personally reachable and available during the months prior to our event was a great comfort to me, and you and your team responded to my questions, concerns, and alterations quickly and professionally. Also, Doug DeBarge was crucial to me during this time in his ability to make quick and concise changes to all printed materials (floor plans and signage). His talent allowed me to tailor my needs directly to the changing environment.

During the set-up for our event, your team was extremely quick and competent. Their tireless work and their ability to make changes on-site was a huge help to me and my exhibitors. Also, the fact that either you yourself, or your captain, J.D., remained on-site and returned to the hotel daily to provide my exhibitors with additional equipment was an extra level of service that I did not expect. It helped them immensely to feel comfortable and well looked after.

Finally, breakdown of the event was much quicker and smoother than I had expected. I had planned to remain on site until very late, making sure that the hotel was in proper shape for our departure. Your rapid tear down made for a considerably earlier evening, and left absolutely no mess behind.

I thank you again for the commendable service, and I applaud the efficiency with which Corporate Events catered to BEMF and it's more than 100 exhibitors. I look forward to our future collaboration, and I welcome any feedback you may have regarding our event.
